OK, I'll admit... my dogs aren't that well trained and are spoiled. My chihuahuas are little beggars... and that's because we DO give them table food.

Well, it looks like I created ONE more little beggar in my house! Lilian!

I've given her some tiny tastes of my food. (I mean TINY). Everything she tastes makes her wave her arms around and jump with glee! Now whenever I eat, she begs and jumps for tastes. She literally climbs up my body sometimes. LOL. She grabs at the bowl/utensils, etc.

I made a monster!

Anyone else have a little beggar?

Oh yea, Andrew is the same! Constantly wanting whatever I or the big boys are eating.

I've got one too! I gave Simon a tiny taste of some milk I was drinking and from that moment on, he will beg to try every fluid that I drink. Some days he gets to the point where if he sees me drinking, he'll cry if I don't give him a taste.

I've also started giving him tastes of anything that I'm eating. If it's something that I know he can safely chew, I'll give him small bits so he can learn to pick it up and chew it. Other times I just put a taste on my pinky finger and let him try it. I know my dad used to do that with us and we turned out fine, but it still makes people cringe when we're out in restaurants LOL.

Another beggar in the group! Nate climbs up my body and will hold onto my leg or arm looking up at me with sad puppy dog eyes. The boy is far from starving so I find it hilarious. Most times I'll try to give him a bite - if it's safe - and he doesn't even really want it. He's just nosey. Laughing
